The Matt Garcia Foundation is pleased to invite you to participate in the 2nd Annual Matt Garcia Charity Tournament.
Please mark your calendars for October 3, 2011 as we will hold the tournament at the oh-so-beautiful Green Valley Country Club in Fairfield, CA.
Registration and putting contest opens at 9:00am with a shotgun start at 11:00am. Breakfast served between 9:30-10:30 and dinner will follow the tournament in the country club mansion. Individual player registration is $200.00, Foursomes are $800 and corporate sponsorship ranges from $150 to $10,000. All donations are tax deductible.
As our foundation continues its fight against the violence and crime in our city, we are as committed today as we were a year ago in keeping Matt’s dream alive. Matt Garcia was truly a man with vision. As the youngest city councilman elected in the state of California in 2007, he led by inspiration and with integrity and ambition before his untimely death in September of 2008.
The Matt Garcia Foundation is a non-profit origination 501(c) (3) and is funded entirely on donations. We are excited to announce in 2010 we added supporting the The Matt Garcia Learning Center to our campaign in bettering our city. We also continued to financially support of the The P.A.L. (Police Activity League) Matt Garcia Youth Center. We have also given out over 25,000.00 to various school and city programs, student grants, and other worthy causes in our community. Now, more than ever, we have found it necessary to work even harder to raise funds.
As The Matt Garcia Foundation is a high-profile organization, when you partner with us you will be recognized as contributors to our event’s success and investors in the future of our youth. Your sponsorship will help the kids in our community stay off the streets and develop a sense of confidence and belonging, which will in turn, inspire them to become adults who know the value of giving back.
