Please mark your calendars for October 1, 2012 as we will hold the tournament at the Green Valley Country Club in Fairfield, CA.

The Matt Garcia Foundation is a 100% volunteer operated organization that raises financial support for:

• The Matt Garcia Learning Center, The P.A.L. Matt Garcia Youth Center, The Matt Garcia Home for Women and Children, various sports programs, several impactful school programs, and a variety of scholarships to local high school students and graduates.

Tournament Information

• Place: Green Valley Country Club (A Member’s Only Club)
• Date: October  1^st 2012
• Time: 9am-10:30am, Registration and Breakfast, 11am, Shotgun Start.  At the completion of the tournament, dinner will be served to each golfer in the beautiful Country Club mansion.

Golfers Registration Include:

• Green Fees, Golf Cart, Tee Gifts, Entries in Putting, Longest Drive, and Closest to the Pin Contest, 1 Entry in the Prize Club, Breakfast, Dinner, Team Photo, 1 Onsite Club Re-Grip, Product Samples

• $200 per Golfer or $800 for a Foursome.

The Matt Garcia Foundation is pleased to invite you to participate in the 2nd Annual Matt Garcia Charity Tournament.

Please mark your calendars for October 3, 2011 as we will hold the tournament at the oh-so-beautiful Green Valley Country Club in Fairfield, CA.

Registration and putting contest opens at 9:00am with a shotgun start at 11:00am. Breakfast served between 9:30-10:30 and dinner will follow the tournament in the country club mansion. Individual player registration is $200.00, Foursomes are $800 and corporate sponsorship ranges from $150 to $10,000. All donations are tax deductible.

As our foundation continues its fight against the violence and crime in our city, we are as committed today as we were a year ago in keeping Matt’s dream alive. Matt Garcia was truly a man with vision. As the youngest city councilman elected in the state of California in 2007, he led by inspiration and with integrity and ambition before his untimely death in September of 2008.

The Matt Garcia Foundation is a non-profit origination 501(c) (3) and is funded entirely on donations. We are excited to announce in 2010 we added supporting the The Matt Garcia Learning Center to our campaign in bettering our city. We also continued to financially support of the The P.A.L. (Police Activity League) Matt Garcia Youth Center. We have also given out over 25,000.00 to various school and city programs, student grants, and other worthy causes in our community. Now, more than ever, we have found it necessary to work even harder to raise funds.

Step up to the plate and help Strengthen Our Community!

The Solano Blues Community is hosting a concert called Blues, Blues and More Blues to benefit the Matt Garcia Foundation. The show will take place Friday May 20, 2011 at 8 PM at the Vacaville Moose Lodge, 6585 Gibson Canyon Rd in Vacaville, CA. The Delta Rockers, Dante and the Blues Inferno and Sergeant Tucker will provide the music, so please come on down, enjoy the tunes and support the Dream Team.
